(250917) -- SHENZHEN, Sept. 17, 2025 (Xinhua) -- Safety supervisors inspect fire-fighting facilities at the construction site of a tunnel of Shenzhen Metro Line 16, in Shenzhen, south China's Guangdong Province, Sept. 16, 2025. Tow tunnels contracted by China Railway 20th Bureau Group Co., Ltd. have been bored through successfully. One is a part of Qianhai-Huanggang Port section for Guangzhou-Dongguan-Shenzhen intercity rail network, a project will streamline business travel, tourism and commuting between those cities. And the other is a part of Shenzhen Metro Line 16 which will reduce travel times and transportation costs for the passengers. (Xinhua/Liu Dawei)
