New Delhi [India], August 5 (ANI): BJP MLA Arvinder S Lovely on Monday hailed Operation Sindoor as a matter of pride for the people of the country and stressed that India will go against any country that attempts to disturb the peace by doing terrorist activities.
On Operation Sindoor, MLA Lovely told ANI, 'Operation Sindoor is a matter of pride for all of us... Wherever PM goes, he says that this is not the era of war and India has emerged as the peace ambassador. But the peace doesn't mean that if any nation tries to disturb the peace by doing terrorist activities, we will stay silent. To maintain that peace, it is important to send a message that India does not spare those who become a part of disturbing the peace of India...'
Furthermore, on the Supreme Court pulling up the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, over his remarks on the clash between the Indian and Chinese armies on December 9, 2022, he said, 'Rahul Gandhi keeps on saying anything. I was part of that party, and if I had taken them seriously, then I wouldn't have come here.'
Earlier in the day, the Supreme Court pulled up the Congress leader over his alleged remarks on the Indian army.
Twenty-six civilians were killed in the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir, after which India retaliated through precision strikes under Operation Sindoor, targeting terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK).
