NEW DELHI -- The Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI) has granted approval to the first intranasal COVID-19 vaccine iNCOVACC, the Department of Biotechnology said Tuesday.
Bharat Biotech International Limited (BBIL), the maker of iNCOVACC (BBV154), has received approval under Restricted Use in Emergency Situation for people aged 18 and above in India for heterologous booster doses. (India-COVID19-Vaccine)

SEOUL -- South Korea's transport ministry on Tuesday issued its first-ever return-to-work order to truckers who have been on a strike demanding reasonable freight rates.
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport issued the order that the truckers on strike should return to work after it was passed at a cabinet meeting. (South Korea-Order-Strike)

TOKYO -- Japanese prosecutors and a fair trade watchdog on Tuesday searched units of major advertising agencies ADK Holdings Inc. and Dentsu Group Inc. on suspicion of bid rigging for test events contrasts of last year's Tokyo Olympics, local media reported.
The investigation into ADK Marketing Solutions Inc. and Dentsu Live Inc. came after prosecutors searched six other firms, including Japan's biggest advertising agency Dentsu and Hakuhodo Inc., the second largest, on Friday and Monday over the bidding for contracts awarded to nine companies, according to Kyodo News. HONG KONG -- Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) John Lee said late Monday night that he had submitted a report to the Central People's Government presenting the situation regarding the HKSAR's performance of its duties in safeguarding national security since the implementation of the national security law in Hong Kong.
Lee also recommended in the report that a request be made to the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress to seek an interpretation under Article 65 of the national security law in Hong Kong to clarify whether an overseas solicitor or barrister, who is not fully qualified to practice in Hong Kong, can be involved in any form in handling cases of crimes against national security, in accordance with the legislative intent and purpose of the national security law.
