Strasbourg - Nineteen-year-old Dayana Yastremska captured her third WTA title on Saturday with a battling win over France's Caroline Garcia in Strasbourg.
Ukraine's Yastremska, who defeated world number 11 Aryna Sabalenka in the semi-finals, edged a final set tie-break to beat 2016 champion Garcia 6-4, 5-7, 7-6 (7/3).
Yastremska only turned 19 last week and made it three wins from as many finals, recovering after letting a pair of match points slip while leading 5-3 in the second set.
She finally closed out victory after two hours and 58 minutes, the longest championship match on the WTA circuit this season, to add to titles at Hua Hin this year and Hong Kong in 2018.
